The Council fire their Etherion (the doomsday weapon), but it's all part of Gerard's plan. The whole tower is built out of Lacrima and absorbs the magical power instead of being destroyed by it. Everything else was just decoration.

Yam-bo confronts Seigrain at the council, but he disappears.

Seigrain & Gerard aren't twins. They're the same person. Gerard has spent the last 8 years infiltrating the council while building the Paradise Tower at the same time.

What about that other mysterious girl? In the confusion that stirs she uses her lost magic to break down the entire council building. The building is falling.

And the R-Type system to revive Zeref is complete!

All that remains is a living sacrifice, and it would've been Erza if Natsu didn't pop up at the best possible time and drag her out of that wall.

They fight. Gerard seems to have the upper hand, but Natsu isn't one to give up.

Gerard doesn't like Natsu cracking the floor like that.
