His Story
   By Bob Axell, 2008

01
One morning he woke up
He just couldn't get enough
Of the fame and screams
Deep inside of his dreams

One day he turned away
From his life to pursuey
His mom to let him leave
And pursue his dreams

So he walked right out
Of his tainted old house
And strolled on the road
Until he came home

In a brand new town
Where the sun shone
He lived for an hour
Alone

02
Then she came along
With golden hair
And she sung a song
So loud and clear

Her eyes were blue
Her smile was wide
He felt the warmth
She held inside

There she came along
On the gravel road
Lightly upon it
She slowly strolled

And he thought that he
Had found missery
Until she entered
The city streets

03
She stopped at a shop
To buyfood to eat
She tilted her toes
She swayed on her feet

She asked for a fish
She asked for some rice
She didn't ask for more
She didn't ask twice

The clerk said don't worry
I need no money from you
I can smell the beauty
I can't fight the fumes

The day was settling down
Out came afternoon
And the girl rode home
Whilst the darkness loomed

04
Again came the dreams
Swirling in his head
As he lay there
Stretched upon his bed

The bright lights shown intsenly
The stage was clean and clear
The floor it shone of ceder
And only he was there

The crowd they danced infront of him
They shoated and they cheered
Then his dreams got twisted
and he drifted into nightmares

The crowed they screamed and ran off
And a monster appeared
He had horns in his dreadful head
And hollow wideeyed ears

05
He awoke with a shreak
He looked pale and bleak
He felt horrified
He stood stray and weak

He waltzed on the street
Between thoughts he found
In swirls of unwisdom
Around and around

His mother had sent him
A letter this day
It had been a full week
Since he wemt away

For his fortune and future
She wished him only well
He strayed from his missery
Straight out of hell

06
Unsure of himself
With doubts in his heart
It felt like he was shattered
His future torn apart

But he decided not to stray
To let his future move away
He went straight to the biggest in
And through himself to the crowds within

He sung songs from his deepest hearth
About a thousand worlds apart
About the fear and fumes that rose
From the ground and the cracks that closed

The flames that ground beneath the soil
The lifes that shriveled, the blood that boiled
The people were quite, a quire of delight
Spread upon their faces, all greif flared off sight

07
The girl stood in the corner
She smiled and waved away
And he walked out with happy thoughts
And travelled through the day

Onto the next town after this
And to bigger cities he moved
He went wherever the flow took him
He just followed the grove

Then he found a producer
And a contract he quickly signed
His bright fame and future
It was all he had in mind

And he played for a month for fortunes
Greater than he could have dreamed
His life it arrose as did his selfesteeme
It steamed and roamed to higher themes

08
Then came the day he talked to his boss
They discussed the papers and he saw his loss
The money he worked for was to his grim surprise
Not his at all, but his bosses and wifes

They fed upon stars such as he was himself
He was all they had, he was something else
But he refused to keep playing and left fame and wealth
Trudged through the world with his voice on a shelf

He locked the events deep inside his heart
A box he kept locked in fear he'd fall apart
If the box was opened and the memories he gained
About the carreer he had wasted in vein

He took up heavy drinking, he slept in all day
The little money he had, he all threw away
What was he thinking? He could not portray
The thoughts, that in which he once3 had been cought

09
Then One day he stumbled back
To the town he so long ago left
It was a criminal threshold now
Ravaged by rape and theft

The years they had rolled by slowly
He barely recognized this place
The town in wich he had arrived first
With a thirst for freedom and grace

Nobody here knew him anymore
Nobody remembered his face
Things weren't like they were before
All the world had gone to waste

It felt like there was nothing more
Nothing more he could do
So he left thw town in search for something
That has been searched by few

10
And when the full moon rises
Up into the sky
All the life has ended
All has been passed by

When the full moon rises
Up over our lifes
The world it is all over
And we all end our strife

When the whole world is over
We tend to turn away
Face the newly born facts
Forget the foreign days

When the world is over
We all quickly run home
And spend our days there
All alone

11
But this boy didn't know what fear was
His whole life he had been alone
He left when we was still a child
And had now fully grown

He searched the world for the smiling girl
And he found her with a frown
She asked him why he took so long
He said he just never got around

Life is like a rollercoaster
Full of ups and downs
Life it rolls from coast to coast
It leaves and lives in rounds

And these two were a happy pair
They lived wherever they appeared
They traded smiles and shared their fears
And lived for years and years and years

Happily Ever After
