Posting For The Space Of It

Do you know what I have been doing the past week? And even more importantly, would you like to know? Well, it's up to you. You can either continue reading below... or you can read something else, or do something else, or sleep. You actually have a lot of choices. My choice after writing this has already been decided. It's to take a nice warm shower and then nestle down in my fluffy bed for a good nights sleep before my national exam tomorrow. Well, onto the topic.

I have been working on my site... surprised? The great news is that I am coding my own site CMS, so no more WordPress or phpBB power anymore, I will call it the CyberDyze Engine. Right now I'm in kind of a hurry with all my national and final exams, especially the Math ones which I dread, but I have managed to get the basic structure completed, and I am now in the process of adding various features, most importantly a forum and blog, to replace the former ones, but also much much more. Security will also be a huge issue in this one, to prevent anyone hacking my site anymore. In an additional week, in the worst case scenario 2... I hope I'll have gotten so far that I can begin moving all blogs, comments, users and pages to the new system. No more wasting time with blogs for the next week or two then. I'll see you soon.

    Nice tutorial, thanks for the link! Although I’ll have to have categories on my blog, so lets see if I can implement that into the code . . .

    I cant wait until you create your own system. That will be cool once its all done. I created my own blog system but its not very user compatable i am hoping to make a user compatable blog system for people to use =D. Good luck

    oh yeah and one more thing. GET THE BBS BACK UP IM LOST WITH OUT IT!!! and to top that of im banned on the ng bbs for like 20 days lol.

    Your banned from the NG BBS? Aw, just the right time for mine to be down then, you could have been posting tons here, heh.

    I’m working as fast as I can! I already have the basic BBS structure completed, with forums, topics, posts, sessions and user profiles. I made a neat blog with categories too . . . but I want a lot more done before I release it . . .

    Oh, come on. Why? WordPress is so good. Besides GaMerZ has fixed up all of his plugins and has fixed GFE, I even created a installer for it too. But considering the fact that you will still probably work on the script I will be glad to help you.

    The reason why I have lost interest in wordpress is because I find it so slow. Or maybe thats only because of all the plugins I’ve installed, lol, either way I’m making my own engine now.

    Also, some of the sections of the site like library, gallery etcetra will still be wordpress driven. Yay. ^_^

    A better hit counter? Well, I don’t use any hit counters on this site myself, webalizer stats is enough for me, but thanks for the offer. :)

    Yeah, I have tons of plugins installed. There is a lot of unnessecary code in WP that I don\’t need though, with my own engine I will only add code that I use. ^_^
