It’s not too often I just sit down and write a bit at night, but tonight it feels too right to smite. My day started abit slower than it usually does, at least slower than my usual Mondays do. I rose up at about nine, performed my daily Monday(ne) ritual, lifting weights, visiting NG, checking all my email addresses, reading the latest of internetal news, eating breakfast, writing out a few missed days in the offline diary of mine for this year. I then took a nice walk through the chilly spring sunshine when wind blows with my mother, and reassumed my place in front of the computer after a quickly but also deliciously composed lunch (old rice, fried egg, sloppy burger with lemon-mayoneisse/cheese/alfalfa/ketchup/butter/soya schnitzel), working some on web design, then playing a game to quench my thirst for whatever else I’m missing.
The name of the game is Knytt, and I uploadeded it to my folder of stuffs incase you’d like to play it, so you can download it at the bottom of this post, a complete savefile is included as well. The game name sounds very Swedish, but I have no idea who the creator is, no speech is included, nor are any other languages than the default, English of course, but that doesn’t say much. In the game you play the roll of a small person living in a peaceful village somewhere without name. One day an alien crashes and it’s your job to find the pieces for him. The journey is just long enough, might take an hour or two depending on how much of the world you explore, the music is ambient and the surroundings are simple and interesting. It’s a good game.
Almost at the end of the game my buddy Andreas called, he wanted something to do so I suggested a walk, but after a chattable silence I came up with the genius idea of playing tennis instead. Haven’t played tennis in five years, or more, so we headed out to an empty court a few kilometers away in hopes that it really was empty. It was a bit too empty, it didn’t even have a net, but we played over the fence separating the two lanes and it was all fun and games . . . even though I lost . . . both sets we played. Anyhow, good practice, overly enjoyed, I think I’ll have a pretty sore right arm tomorrow, tis not often I use the muscles in this manner! I sat down when I got back and worked on finishing an assignment, which I’m almost finished with too, but I’ve been a bit tired all day and now all the desire to finish the assignment just . – . – .vanished, so I thought I’d write a blog instead and maybe after that I’d have something to do. No fear, I have things to do, but I feel tired and not like doing the things I need to do, thus I write about my not that monotone day today.
I write all my rhymes in four verses so here’s a last chug for this blog. I’ll see you later when interesting things arise, maybe. Chao!
