2011 - December
12/01
It's December! It's a new month, and Christmas is just 23 days away. So close, and it feels like the whole year just passed in one big whiff of stale air. What did I spend this year doing? Well, I didn't spend it on 100 Words. I've missed almost two years here, which goes to show just how fast time flies. Too fast, it's the speed of life. I accomplish a lot but it's never enough, there's so much more I want to do, so much more I want to achieve. Maybe next year there will be time for everything. ;)
12/02
When I type this the page header tells me it's December 2012. I know that when I submit it it will still show as 2011 though, some little bug in the site script I guess. For the second day this month I woke up, ate breakfast, ate the small chocolate block in my Christmas calendar and sat down by the computer to achieve a lot. Here I am, achieving a lot. ;) Today's work is all about fixing a webshop that just won't work. Open Source OpenCart is a great script, as long as it works. Right now it's not working.

You know what's bugging me lately? The formatting options here at 100 Words. For the last few posts I've been using the BR tag a whole lot to format my (very repetitive line-breaking) posts, and apparently each BR tag counts as a word. When you view the post after posting, the tags aren't viewable anymore though, so if the number of words doesn't add up, that's the reason. I follow the number counter for words like a clock, intently. When it's at 100 I stop writing, or start revising the post to make everything fit in a hundred words.
12/12
As I was saying, every time I use the BR tag here at 100words the word counter moves up a digit... even though I haven't entered any words at all. The word counter is pretty nifty with various symbols, such as ? ! ยค % &... all of them are left unnoticed by the counter, so it seems only logical HTML tags that aren't even viewable after posting the text should be skipped as well, right? Logical to me at least, but I'll keep posting posts with word amount according to the counter, not what it really is, now back to the line-breaking repetitions!

That goal about writing a hundred words each day. Is it really worth it? Is it worth writing a hundred words every day, every month, every year? What's the use? What's the meaning? Where's the challenge? Why waste time? Why do anything? Why watch a movie when life is equally groovy? Why watch a movie based on real events, when real events could equally make a movie? I suppose because it's easier, or maybe because it's a bigger challenge to take the easy way out, than making things harder than they need to be... I guess I'm just depressed today. :(

December 19! A new day is here!
December 19! A day when clouds tear!
Across the winter sky! And they fill me with fear!
That there will be rain. Not snow.
December 19! A new day is here!
December 19! A day when clouds tear!
Across the winter sky! And they fill me with fear!
That there will be rain. Not snow.
But in my room right now, it's snows Nachos. ;)
And after this divinely conceived poem I think I'll just add a few lines till I reach a hundred words combined. With all the line breaks excluded. There.

I admit. I've copied and pasted content into some of these posts. It's all my own content though, taken from my own blogs. Problem is I don't write enough blogs... that's probably why I'm stuck here writing this as well. Right?
No problemo though. I love writing. I could write day and night... and in fact I do write day and night, sometimes, cause I just love to write. Under sun. Under moonlight. Under the burden of pain and agony and disease or newfound wonders. :)
Just ten more posts left for this year and on to the next one. Sail.
12/22
Ever tried just writing the first thing that comes to your head? You know, subliminal thoughts from mind to paper, untranslated by the unsubliminal patterns of thought? For the next seventy or so words of this post I'll try just that. Go ahead and analyze my psyche if you feel like it. :)
On the computer bread fresh backed there is air in the sky look at stars gunpowder fills streets old crap leftover rockets lying trashed nature barren tracks railroad long train thought complaint rant raging at end rabbits dead this summer hopping white fluffy furry eyes black like night.
12/23
Did a quick analysis myself of what I wrote in the latter half of the past post, the subliminal messages therein. The problem is they may not be very subliminal after all, they may just be things I've seen recently. Train tracks, I'm on the computer, I've eaten fresh bread, I'm ranting, I'm raging, complaining, writing. Then there's the part about the dead rabbits. Three wild rabbits died last summer, one was eaten by a fox, one died of disease, one starved to death, abandoned by his/her parents. It was pretty sad, but anyhow, that's the analysis. Easy writing.

So... I thought I'd do another post featuring words straight from my brain, written without thinking. Here we go!
Numbers on the tray remains of yesterday looking at the sky dead oaks along the path black coats on Aftermath split ribs like liquor pills cheap thrills along the ride roller-coaster on the toaster I'm alive burning like a hive thrive on the words I'm worse than Eminem I type so fast no sensing when the sensing ends since then my friend many days have passed and that's a blast it's as far as the road takes us.
12/27
Soo... a quick analysis of the post previously posted, right? I suppose I was in a mood for rhyming, so I wrote a rhyme. Are my thoughts subliminally structured this way? Do I think in rhyme? Has Poetry become such a big part of me that I can't part with P? I have no idea, but it was an interesting piece of writing. Not all the rhymes therein are new, so I suppose I take some from memory and make others up. Is there any meaning in the words I chose? Am I just being influenced by other artists? TBC.
12/28
I think I'm being influenced more by other artists when I type without thinking than if I would have thought before typing. I listen more to the music of other people than my own music, so there's no strangeness there, just pure logic. What surprises me however is that I seem to write a pretty decent verse without putting any thought into it. Typing at maximum speed, not burning braincells to figure out good wordflow combinations, and still it's a piece of cake. Is this what they call natural talent? Who knows, but WAIT... it's December 28. ;)

12/30
It's December thirty! Yupp. New year is on its way... it's soon here... it's approaching with really big steps, coming up quickly. I have great expectations for the new year. If not a little friendly chaos that makes us all change our bad bad routines (like the INCA Indians wrote their prophecy about) then at least some good old fashioned progress in the wrong direction that we humans are so fond of. Destroying the world, one new year at a time. But really though, I have big plans, and I suppose I'm a bit ego but I know it's good for me though. Peace.
12/31
The new year will be here in just a few minutes. I'm writing on the verge, as always, at the very end, at the latest time possible, finalizing this at the very last possible moment. A new year, huh? Will it be great? Will it be amazing? Will all my hopes and visions and dreams and ambitions finally be fulfilled? I sure hope so! There's so much I want to do, so much I haven't had time with this year, but in 2012, there will be time for everything... except timewasters. Happy New Year rare readers of this post posted!
