Upon the clouds it seemingly floats
With sun by window and air in moat
Upon a mountain my castle quotes
All that is amazing and mighty
I built my castle for a future when
It took 800 million bricks and the lives of ninety men
And when I was ready to take on my throne
I was blinded by the sun and I fell from my home
I fell, I fell, and I fell some more
Until I forgot what I was falling for
And when I finally did reach the ground
The castle had withered, and started falling down
And I was old, and did not care
For my castle up in the air
To my knowledge the bricks fall still
And in another hundred years, always will
If you're curious, climb up and count
The bricks still standing on my mount
Just be sure to climb at night
For in the clouds, the sun does bite. |
