Happy Halloween 2009

Happy Halloween 2009!

[swfobj src="" class="flash"]

Hope you've all had a good one! No trick or treating today this year, but my buddy bear did arrange a humble Halloween party yesterday. Tacos, cake, The exorcism of Emily Rose (great movie) & Mario Cart. I went dressed as a pirate (apply bandanna, regular shirt, and poof, there you go). Came home at one, and arrose early this morning to celebrate my sister (31 years). Happy Birthday Maud! My cousin David with family came by at eleven and we played Worms Armageddon basically all the rest of the day. Which reminds me that I haven't been outside at all! No wonder I feel a bit stiff. Anyhow, we ate homebaked cake and later a nice juicy dinner with fresh bread and delicious soup, and now it's time for movies and bed. I threw together a quick flash animation for the honorable day it is, it plays above, so I hope you're not playing anything else ATM. ;)

The three museum visits yesterday went great, lots of good artists, they even had a few Pablo Picasso paintings (wasn't expecting anything of such great caliber) and a large section of Salvador Dali. Tried to find original fingerprints on Gallileos old telescope (there are only two of them in the world), yet to no avail. Great start of the weekend, now, tomorrow the plan is still CHILL. Goodnight.

#303 Still Savage

We are still who we were a thousand years ago
We still claim our lands with piss that flows
We still kill all people who don't live in peace
And if the war won't come, we'll make sure it won't seize

We are still who were ten thousand years ago
But now we align our foes in neat unbroken rows
And cut of peoples fingers, genitals and toes
All for the pain and anguish, that we still do miss so

We are still the ones who burned up hope, still the ones who learned to cope
With the life so harsh and grim, we did not love we cared nothing
We are still the ones who bathed in blood, and loved to kill and never loved
Life was cruel and hard and just, to live this life we thought me must

Until change came, and contused us all, yet we still did not learn to fall
Into the line of peace and time, we kept on killing for law divine
And still we do ideals hold true instead of human nature
I ask myself, and so should you, will we ever mature?

#302 Haiku Of Humanity

Hello there you
Stranger in the unseen blue
Hello there you

Too tired to write anything mentionable, or with nothing mentionable to write?

#301 A Time

There was a time, but it's long gone
Within this time, I did not belong
I tried to make this time my home
But I know I should have better known

There was a time, now far away
The time it would not leave or stay
The time continued at its pace
Ah, those were the olden days
