So our water ran out yesterday. First the tap in the upper bathroom started malfunctioning, and then the rest of the taps in the house. The dishwasher ran dry, but at least we had all showered and taken our shits, because for the rest of the night the water was out. This morning it worked again, but the municipality recently went out with a message that the water may not be drinkable. There's been some unknown leak at some unknown location and citizens are urged to boil their drinking water; even to boil the water they brush their teeth with. Good thing I didn't brush my teeth immediately during my first bathroom visit, as I some times do....
Me and my sister visited our brother in Ă–stersund a couple of years ago when they coincidentally had a similar problem, a Cryptosporidium outbreak that benefited no one except maybe those who sold/produced beverages. It was both an exiting and nervous experience, and they doused the the water with chemicals to get rid of the bacteria so that it smelled a bit funny when you cooked it up. That outbreak lasted more than a month before they were able to purify the water supply completely and make it drinkable again, so I hope this isn't something similar! That would be... unfun...
In other news I'm working on a Pacman game this morning. I won't even be visiting my favorite site before it's done ready to upload. It's not your regular Pacman game, it's a... well you'll see, later. In the mean meantime you can attain some useful wisdom from this petty post: keep a few spare bottles of water just in case it all turns to shit. I'll keep you posted.
