Sway in the morning cameo! And not just the one! Hey!
I'm not a big fan of the new wave of old movies that's been making its way to the movies lately, but this one was alright. It took me a while to be convinced, but with the Sway In The Morning cameo (gotta get your act together though Sway - you seem kinda different there!) and Bruce Willis trying to be all Bronson-like humble... I finally settled into it.
They took the old idea and made something new of it, and I'm glad. If they'd tried to make it just like the old one I might have been disappointed - even though that's what I really came here hoping to see. More ACTION. More RAGE. More death.
There wasn't as much of it here as you might be expecting if you came here from the classic.
And though that might feel like the stereotype route to take: toning the killing spree to a more modern and moderate dosage, it works out. That's not all it's about this time, and I like how it ends. In a humble way. With family. It's a way I wasn't hoping for, but one I'm happy it took after all.
