The sequel to Divergence is here! Earlier than I'd anticipated too. It feels familiar, like a story I've read before, a tale of love in a flawed world, a struggle for freedom that in the last moment succeeds (whoops, spoiler alert) - against all odds!
There's a little bit too much love and relations for me, but the ending is good! The CGI isn't perfect, but there are some monumentous moments too. Though, nothing's really quite as good as it was the first time around. And what's up with that thing about cutting your hair as a symbol of independence/freedom/change? I liked the long-haired freedom fighter variant of Tris better. Anyway, good movie, but not as good as I hoped after the last.
rated 3/5: not bad
