Fear is just not my type of game. Too much hiding, too much stealth... maybe too much realism (aint that ironic considering the supernatural elements of the game?). The controls are elaborate, the levels realistic, the first one's not so bad... but it's way too easy to get injured. The architecture's confusing at times. The gameplay is complex and not as direct as I'd like it.
I've tried all three, and the third game had even more about hiding. I just want to blast the enemies! I want them to throw projectiles that I can dodge or suck at aiming so I don't need to worry about staying low and keeping my head covered! Games like Doom, Serious Sam and Wolfenstein all have one or the other. GTA is a bit more realistic, but still it's manageable in that if you don't have enough health you just eat something or buy a vest. No such luck in the FEAR venture, it's more about survival than I'd like it to be.
Wonder how I'd like Rust...

This was pretty damn interesting. And yet, nobody's spoken! Be the first!
