Lucy is part of the guild. She's found a nice apartment with cheap rent and everything is going OK until suddenly Natsu appears out of nowhere. Anyway...

Lucy shows how contracts are negotiated with the steller spirits she summons. It turns out be a simple procedure. Monday? She asks. Tuesday? Ok, it's a promise! After that, they go on a misson! The mission is: burn a book. The problem is: the book is somewhere inside the mansion of some rich egocentric with creepy maids. So they infiltrate.

They find the book. Turns out it's written by Lucy's favorite author, so she wants to read it before they destroy it. Lucy runs off with the book, the rich guy after her, and a couple of foes appear to fight Natsu.
