Hot Shots (1991)

Hot Shots is a great parody featuring the life of a previously traumatized fighter pilot on his mission to save the nation, to overcome his fears and to pursue his fathers dreams and visions. As a side story, it also features his romance with the psychologist, an evil plan from a plane manufacturer, and the story of some other pilots with less luck than himself. Lots of witty events in this, I laughed nonstop while watching this. It's exaggerated and insane, but still not too exaggerated, and the storyline is a great one. Btw, the movie this parody is based upon is Top Gun, one which I haven't seen and one which there is no need to see with a great movie like this as an alternative. I highly recommend it!
