I'm out of voice but it's kind of nice!
To fry it by choice and just ride a vibe!
Metal manifestations of what you can change if you don't spend
Days on vacation, or playing games or waiting

Mind games with yourself! I know I can do better
I'm bolder and I stretch! I'm coping with my neck
Maybe tense up at the state of the world and its' duress
But change is baby steps, so I gotta get a lady friend and...

Mix it up a bit and make hit ditties euphorically!
Wish I could metaphorically kill kings with a dragons breath
But I can't... I'm only a man not Errol or Apep
I have a role though and that's... to keep it fresh!

Mind states may change when you stray from reins!
Or just play something great! Be that metal or new wave!
Or go deranged and insane! Build another you in your brain!
Become schizophrenic! Then you can play your self games!

Just don't change with fame! And become someone you're not!
Totally lose your edge and go Country like Kid Rock!
Or workers to politicians who used to be on a clock!
Who now don't care about our time, so you know they stop watch!

Aint that a bit crazy, man! What are we doing with the planet and the management of this place
Famine hitting, families disbanding, no longer gran knitting, no oat bran in the kitchen man
No kittens sitting and licking their mittens, all funny business in the system breaking families apart
Have you no heart? F-O-D hit me with this one *brief intermission: keep making your art*

Start making dough like your art is chips! Then get rich and buy a car and shit!
And get a reputation! And get into politics to rep your liason! And test your patience!
And get annoyed at the crowd who just makes noise when you hang out with the boys and the future you, who made it from a dreamer to a behemoth now JUST MAKES...
