Jack Black is back as Master Panda Po! This time traveling back to humble origins, on a mission to master Chi with his new dad in a secret panda village at the top of a mountain!
Of course there's a nefarious foe involved, too - the reason he has to do such strange things, and he doesn't just backtrack to his roots but also to the spirit realm for one final showdown against this beast, and some reminiscence and nostalgia with a good friend!
It feels like a good closure on the whole Kung Fu Panda realm, so I hope they won't just keep it going endlessly after this for the sales. Compared to the second one it feels higher on purpose too, and the wit and pace is as top-notch as ever.
It's Panda to perfection, and all the other guys we know and grow to love... they're there too! Angelina Jolie's been out of the movie scene for a couple of years now, but here she is! Jackie Chan too. Even if he doesn't really seem on-top of his voice act this time he gets a good homage at the end.
If you liked the previous prepare to be merry again! It's very much them. Kung Fu Panda fo shizzle.
rated 4/5: fo shizzle
Is this the only Kung Fu franchise to make it through this Hollywood decade, btw? These honorable arts sure could use some new blood.

This was pretty damn interesting. And yet, nobody's spoken! Be the first!
