Lethal Weapon 3 (1992)

It hasn't been that many years since the last Lethal Weapon movie before this one, but still, it feels like the filming quality has improved greatly. Not the angles or filmography, but the actual result. Everything is sharper, the zooms contain detail and, well, it just looks much better than the last two. Maybe there was some kind of breakthrough in film technique during the verge of these decades? Who knows, but the fact is, this movie looked a lot better than the previous! OK, moving on...

The plot is a lot wilder as well, and maybe a bit more unpredictable. Leo is back, though he looks different, and no longer requires witness protection (cause his evil employees were all killed in the last movie... by you know who). As always the movie manages to combine family drama with sometimes savage comedy, and a lot of action. This time the villain is an insider, a female private investigator gets involved, there's a car chase along train tracks, lots of explosions, even more gunfire than the earlier movies (probably because the crooks in this case are also arms dealers) and, well... it's just like the previous two but... better.
