This little piggy had a cuppa

A tiny piglet has been named Tetley – because he’s no bigger than a cup of tea.

Tetley was the smallest of a litter of eight Pennywell miniatures born to his mother, Poppy Two Socks, at Pennywell Farm, near Buckfastleigh in Devon.

Pennywell owner Chris Murray said “Tetley is the star of the farmyard.”

Staff had to get through several false pregnancies before the brood came along – but are overjoyed with their 3in-high, 5in-long mini star of the pig pen.

Old English strains are used to breed the Pennywell miniature pigs, which never grow beyond the size of a cocker spaniel.

Most of the litter will be sold as pets with the rest being kept for future breeding.
