Europe’s highest Jacuzzi

A team of mountaineers have enjoyed a Jacuzzi on top of Western Europe’s tallest mountain.

The 20 mountaineers clambered 15,000ft to the top of Mont Blanc and then put together their own spa bath.

They melted ice to provide the water, heated it with woodburning stoves then leapt in, reports The Mirror.

Finally, they celebrated their achievement in style – by sipping a few glasses of bubbly amid the bubbles.

A spokesman for the group, who call themselves Jacuzzi Events, said: “It was freezing working against the wind but we got to enjoy it in the end.

“At such an extreme height, it was difficult to get the burners working to heat the volume of snow we needed. The logistical challenge was a big one.

“We had to carry lots of boxes, pipes and fuel, plus bottles of wine and beer without any help from an helicopter.”
