My Old Twitters

Browsed through my old Twitter messages today. 606 of them. It's interesting how back in the day you just said what you were doing, right then and there, and ten years later (it's been almost ten years since my last post at least) it's evolved into more of a chatroom than a list of status updates. So much more dynamic. And so much less about status updates than points of interest - a mesh of news, dues and random inspiration.

Almost like a lightweight version of Tumblr.

Also I miss Ananova. Quirkies... remember? There's so much nostalgia in those tweets, short and pointless as they may be. Some places are gone, but some sites never die! City Creator's still there, for one. Still fun. It's not in Flash either so maybe it'll live past 2020 too.

I don't remember playing Dragon Fable at all. But the site. Hmm. Seems very Time Hunter-like...

No time to go Google now, but just thought I'd post a note. If you want to check my twitters, new and old - inexistent and archived - they're here and here. Maybe some day that second one will actually come to life... maybe. Some day.

Joined February 2007?? WTF!! This is long before Social media purchased '@' and '#'. If you invested in them back then you'd be a millionaire now...

I take it this is the one with Don Cheadle; decent movie.

Naruto is a gateway anime of the worst kind, Pulp Fiction is p. good, oh cool a sci-fi anime I haven't heard great reviews too. Does it hold up to Akira tho?

I used to make those to. Except for they were very bad quality, it was just me recording my TV with a budget camcorder.

    Responses to them others:

#2. Yes, most definitely. :) Didn't realize I'd watched a movie with the same name though...

#3. I actually did start watching anime via that one anime. XD Introduced by a friend. It was great in the beginning though. True that, and as for Metropolis heeey there's actually an anime with that name?! :O Didn't know. It does seem promising... I was speaking of the 1927 movie.

#4. Hmm barely remember this one... deja vu on the title though! Tempted to add to teh watchlist again...

#5. Any of those still online? Or were they ever? Fun times, though. :) I started out just recording my screen too, though don't think I ever uploaded any of those. The one I mentioned here's one of these I think:

#6. XD It was pretty good though...

#7. Still remember that one clearly though! :) Great action.

#8. Oh, didn't know he made that one. It was definitely different. Pretty depressing too...
