Napoleon Dynamite (2004)

Napoleon Dynamite was a pretty cool guy! A weird guy, but a cool guy too, and this movie's pretty unlike any other.

Expect a weird kind of high school drama with a little comedy. Not spaced-out crazy weird, but calm, laid-back, unexpectedly pleasant kind of weird. The characters may be pretty weird, but somehow you still grow to love them, like they're all just one big family. Which they... kind of are. Mostly. Apart from Pedro and the girl.

Napoleon Dynamite, there really is no other! There really is no way to properly review this movie; no analysis I could make as to why it was fun to watch, because the comedy is really... different. It seems to be one of those cases where either you love it, or you don't. I thought I wouldn't, but in the end, it wasn't bad. All thanks to Jon Heder and his crazy brethren, and friends, and a bunch of people who live out in a vast expanse of green fields and make everything look like the seventies again. Great watch.
