I decided to write three novels
Three novels all in one month
To three whole seperate contests
Yes, three novels at once

I wrote a novel on Monday
And I wrote a novel then too
The day that followed thereafter
The first day that I wrote through

But then, then came the third day
And I was so confused!!
My head was bleating with inspiration
But I didn't know which to use

Now I sit here in my office
Frequent fits to my loft seduced
Shall I quit this novel suffice?
Maybe spin mittens by swift country blues?

No, I think I'll just wait here
Maybe write a few lines in dismay
About the novel I tried to write
But couldn't write down today
