poetic scribble by Bob Axell 2008

Drown in the darkness
Howl like a killer
Pounded by thoughts
They follow you home

You'll always be my insight
But I'll leave you alone
You'll always be my midnight
And I will always mourn

I'll beat you up like a storm
And remember the day you were born, strong
I'll scream you loud like the thunder
That leaps down to catch you

All the jelous clouds that there flew
An old man, can maybe evade them
Always searching for shimmering fumes
Replaying the tunes that I hear

Shifting from mouth to ear
The senses stirr on forever
Just when I thought I'd get better
I sink to the darkness consumed
