Reframe
poetic scribble by Bob Axell 2008

Running away
From all my tasks
Running away
From all the masks

That chase me with faces
Distorted with joy
They pound me around
As if I was a toy

Running away
From all my chores
Running away
Like a wild horse

They chase me with phrases
Twisted with hurt
They tie my shoelaces
They shredd all my work

But it doesn't matter
I just leave them behind
And find me my oasis
Hidden in my mind

Where I can realize
And live a suddle lies
Deep down in my desert
With cloudfree clearblue skies
