Wait, Wait, Weight
poetic scribble by Bob Axell 2009
The water keeps burning
Intensly like the light
That's been inside my head
Still for this long night
My thoughts they keep churning
And I wrestle with delight
It seems I'm slowly learning
About the strolls of moonlight
That from the mountain falling
Sweep the world and us all in
A shadow of calamity
Moonlit clams we salvish seeds
Someday I will sail to see
And feel the breeze sweep me out deep
Into the waves so fine and vast
Until then I just stare at my hourglass
