Waves of Moonlight
poetic scribble by Bob Axell 2009
I can feel the seasons
Leave without reasons
Leaves swirling by
Snow smiling
Falling outside the sky
I can see its treason
As a plea in vein
And I feel its shame
Still the snow
Falls whitely outside windows
Melting on heated glass
Dribbling off the window panes
Sizzling in the dimmed sun
Shining yet
Till summer comes
A spring to launch - to free
The sky
Big blue clouds pass
The background
Bye!
A dampeded rain falls
Upon the earth
Unholy
Proud
They strike upon me softly, and say
"Another time, another day"
