The world is unengaged
So thus I disengage
From everything in range
All that I could crave
All of my mistakes
The ones I didn't make
I leave alone for later
Now I'll just call the waiter
And pay for a slice of cake
With money I dare forsake
For there is more to life
Life is based on sacrifice
This isn't hell I'm living in
The frosty glazing so amazing
I doubt that cake can dwell within
Those flaming hurdles
I've been a deserter
For the right and froth of paths
But I won't be accused of murder
Dare I provoke your wrath?
Though I have killed many feelings
Despite my insight on all
Of the buildings we break down
That will crumble down and fall
As time passes we do age
As we read we turn the page
There is bound to be an end
But if we liked it, we start again.
Can we say the same of life?
This whole neverending strife?
I'm not sure if I care more
I'm not sure if I'll live twice

This was pretty damn interesting. And yet, nobody's spoken! Be the first!
