Sappho 68 (1968)

Softcore start. Experimental sixties. External narration. A girl meets a girl. She's tired of men. The music gets jazzy and it gets sexual... and then they die!

And then you learn how it all started.

It's a low budget movie, but with good, naturally good-looking actors and suitable narration, with sights of the free and drug-fueled sixties. Of a world that somehow seems simpler and happier than our now.

Albeit maybe a bit more dangerous.

I wasn't expecting that much from this, but I do like surprises. And the nicest vices. If you've eyes to feast.

Swedish director Jan Anders btw! Wasn't expecting that either.

rated 3.5/5: not bad at all

This was pretty damn interesting. And yet, nobody's spoken! Be the first!
