Doctor Strange and Spider-Man make a pretty good combo huh! But even better the whole trio. Spider-Men from three eras of Marvel Spider-Man movies all gathered together for this one collective feast of nostalgia and strangeness, though I'm a little disappointed the villains are all so cliché in the end. All but Doctor Octavius. They do act good, though. Especially the Goblin. And it's like some of these dudes just never age...
The Strangeness is always fascinating to see - the battle between Spidey and the Doctor more beautiful a fight scene than the actual movie showdown, though they manage all of it well. Just like they manage building up a pretty bleak beginning where Peter Parker's been revealed to the world, and nothing's the same anymore... and the end is no better. That's a shame. Feels like a movie oughta end well if it starts bad, or vice versa. Here it's almost like it's stuck in limbo between a prequel and a sequel, and they play a trailer at the very end of it all to boot.
The mid-credit glimpses were nice, but that's a bit much isn't it? Are we really going there?
On the other hand the credits were amazing here, with a soulful 'three is a magic number' rap classic playing in tune with what seems like hand-drawn cityscapes and Spider-Men in various classy poses and levels of color. Really nicely done.
Conclusively I just wish these movies were a bit more conclusive, as they used to be. And I wish it ended better. And I'm still not totally blown away by Tom Holland - especially when faced with his age-old counterparts he's just so... different. Was sad to see May go too. You expected it'd happen eventually, but not in this movie, somehow I expected this to be more like a spin-off. Not the one one where the most essential plot progression actually happens.
But it is a great movie, can't deny that. As soon as the multiverse gets involved it gets interesting too.

This was pretty damn interesting. And yet, nobody's spoken! Be the first!
