Tank Racer

Tank Racer is pretty unique. As the name implies, you race with a tank. You can pick up power ups to shield yourself or attack your opponents and you can shoot all the time. Since you are using a tank you are pretty much invincible, but shots do slow you down. There are a few tracks to select from, a few different tanks and plenty of vehicles and other obstacles to crush along your way. The race view is from behind the tank, the controls are smooth and easy to get the hang of and the races are all pretty challenging as the CPU seem to be almost as good as you are.

There is a multiplayer option and there are plenty of other options to customize your game as you like it. The graphics are old and inevitably a bit crappy, and the game itself is overall simple and small, but it provides good entertainment for any definable moment of time. Once you’ve played through the tracks and tanks the single player option will probably be a bit boring, but with multiplayer the game can last a bit longer. It’s not a game I’d recommend buying seeing as it is a bit outdated and there are many other multiplayer racing games that you could have a greater time playing, but if you happen to come across this game somewhere it is a good play.

 rated 3/5: not bad
