Can't wait for this one! Didn't realize it might be the grand finale no less...
What a ride it's been. A full life and then some. No rest for the wicked, just stress and duress. Saving the world, step after step.
At this point Tom Cruise almost seems synonymous to the MI franchise too. I wonder... what's next.

Mapother IV is no longer young after the Top Gun sequel. Perhaps he lost a step as early as the Mummy movie.
A shame it took so long to get The Edge of Tomorrow sequel into pre-production
Mapother IV! To think I hadn't heard the second half of his name until now...
Indeed, hitting 60 y/o just in time for the launch here, it's pretty crazy the kind of stunts he's doing at that age, and still upping it each and every time. He's aging remarkably slow hmm, maybe there is something to the whole Scientology thing after all...
I didn't realize there was a new one on route! That's what's next huh... even more hyped for that, if that's possible...
Full-on revelations in your comments man. GTK!
Regarding Edge of Tomorrow, the sequel was planned ten years ago shortly after the release. But Cruise filmed it in his early fifties. Seems too much time has passed for him to have the same type of role.
As a parallel Equalizer 3 was filmed when Denzel was in his late 60s and there was less action than in the first two.
Yet he doesn't look that different now compared to ten years back, so it might not be impossible to have him reprise the role anyway, a little post-processing AI or CGI can do wonders with that type of stuff too these days... curious how they'll spin things with this one anyhow. Since they play with time it seems just about anything's possible there.
But maybe you're right, and time will have just naturally passed; the timeline moved onward. It'd be the easiest progression.
Interesting. He's aging well too at least, the second might be my favorite thus far but the third's not far off, it felt intense too, though he definitely dressed older. Saw it a while back, seems my review's still lingering in drafts there...
