The Man On The Other Side (2019)

Stephen Lim, 1949 - 2015.

"He was a man, take for all in all: I shall not look upon his like again."

I miss the days when they could make a good movie with as restricted a set as this.

With two people, stuck in an undisclosed location, one of them behind a door, both kidnapped, and one of them the protagonist... though things aren't all as they seem.

It's a simple premise, but it does get a grip on you, and the rare moments they're outside you do get to see a dam for a moment. A strange yet appreciably stark contrast between the enclosed space and the momentary but all the more open one.

Well-played Sophie too.

It wasn't all that intense, but a good movie.

rated 3.5/5: not bad at all

This was pretty damn interesting. And yet, nobody's spoken! Be the first!
