The Van Halen Story: The Early Years (2003)

Here's a simple but solid YT documentary on the early years of Van Halen.

I didn't realize they were as big a party band as they apparently were! Learned a bit. Saw some glimpses over what parties were like in the old days - an appreciative amount of old footage comes intermixed with interviews and talks with both band members then and band members and others... later in. In 2003 maybe? When this documentary was filmed?

It's a solid documentary. If you like Van Halen, or Rock, or the eighties, or you just want to pay them their dues somehow and experience a little of the legend.

There most probably are even better documentaries about them out there, but this one's free, and educational. Like documentaries should be.
