Unity Player

It's taking over, and I can't understand why people like it so much. Flash used to lag... till I bought a better computer. Problem solved... until Unity player came along. On this 'new' computer, Unity Player lags way worse. It crashes often. It takes waaay too long to load before a game is even initiated. And Unity games seem to be taking over: they're everywhere; my browser's crashing all the time.

If you truly must phase out old technology and use something new, why not opt for something better?! HTML5 is OK. Some HTML games lag way worse than their Flash competition, but most don't; either way it's miles better than Unity. I can't recall the last time my browser froze up playing an HTML 5 game. Maybe HTML5 devs are a bit more competent than the average Unity developer? Whatever it is, I don't like this trend. Rant end.
