Wrong Turn (2021)

Remember all those old horror movies about a road trip gone wrong, and a murderous hillbilly family up in the American woodland?

It got a reboot! And it's actually a good one.

It started typical - a group of spoiled hipsters way out in the outback, trying to get out into nature and all, with cellphones and all, unaccustomed to the wild life, following a trail. Only they don't follow it exactly like they should follow it, and then they run into some bad people... that may not be as bad as they seem.

That's the first impression, but it comes with a twist, and a killer ending.

It's a worthy finale if it is one. Or a start of a whole new series - it's a concept that does work for sequels...

It's as uncompromising as ever too. You'll see.
