Gin knocks out Pearl, and asks his boss if he can fight Sanji instead.

The fight is intense and Gin has the upper hand, he's better, yet he just can't kill the man who showed him mercy when he was starving to death. He tells Don Krieg that he just can't do it, and Don Krieg decides to fire some poison gas at them. Everybody has gas masks, but he tells Gin to leave his mask off.
