Inktober #19 - Half Lights

I've been away all day dreaming of poetry! Came back before I go to sleep!
Low on time but I don't retreat! Open up Audacity, and go without ropes or beats!
Drove the roads back home without half lights on... I was so discreet
Driving in a dusk like it's Half-Life, lighting up streets like a blacksite

But that was just... on accident. Accident Man! Scott Adkins! You know it's me
Even the parking lights are bright, but it is kind of dark tonight I thought coherently
While covertly weaving through the traffic! Got back home though and I found the switch
So I won't be doing that again! That's my adventure for the day though, ain't that some shit

Time to pick up the pad though! Can you dig it like a mole?
I won't play this piano! Like it's time I gotta go
It may get late but I've flannel linen! I won't back down till at most manana!
Sitting enclosed in the glow of a screen in a cold cabana, with an open Fanta!

I'm a night owl anyway! Even when I'm rushed you can't cap my wings
I'm Capitan Casco I've surfed the Internet waves since before this rock was a spring
Jump on NG everyday and in a minute maybe at least let me do my thing
Tomorrow we'll celebrate the day, tonight let us procreate like kings

I mean: Create like a pro! Till the computer glow no longer stings...
