#128 Wakedown
Wake me up
I keep on sleeping
The thoughts keep creeping
Through my head
Can't get enough
The feelings leap in
The feelings deep within
I lie in bed
My thoughts get rough
I rush through uncontained
Carnage without name
Soldiers falling easily
When the going gets tough
Come and wake me up
Just can't get enough
I wonder through the suburbs
Burn myself on ashes
Falling from a flaming sky
Taming all the masses
As the demons pass me by
Calling to the heavens
Strafing through the walls
If dreams are real remember
I won't wake up at all
#127 Alterlife
The hit
Was twice
I lie
In ice
Surrounded by
Dead bodies
They rise
To the skies
Their souls
Are alive
They shine
Like the light
Embodied
By a sea of bright green
Blue swirls and screams
Yet silence surrounds me
I lie in my dreams
My nightmare, my eden
All things I believe in
Are no longer real
To me
For I
Can see
The grace
The free
And I
Can smell
The smoke
Of hell
For I
Am one
With moon
And sun
My life
So long
Has now
Begun
So let us rise
From the shadows
And scream
To the heavens
A prayer
Of silence
#126 The Life Surrounds Us
We do what we do yet we don't dare break down
Hide in the mist our intent underground
We live by our laws when their keepers are around
Still we seek to break all peace treaties in our town
We learn as we live no trust better than life
We lift heavy weights so that we can keep fight
Burning in our soul, revolving in our heart
Tearing us in pieces, and parring us apart
We do what we do all that we feel we must
Content in our dreams in reality we trust
In nothing and no one, we don't believe in sun
We don't believe that brighter futures might come
Someday far away
Someday when grass is gray
Someday when hope is soiled
Someday when souls are boiled
But when we burn as most
We head out to the coast
And find the hope again
An existence we call fiend
The life surrounds us
#125 Running Out
If the birds chirp
It seems I run out of words
So let them perch up in them branches
And sing for me
And let their chirps perk
My interest in trees
Let the tree bark heal
The sunlight dusk would leave
In my momentum
In my fictionary quarrel
Let them worry for me
The storm is riding forward
Through the floors of our house
From the north to the south
They run out of rain
As I run out of names
Here we go again
Running out
