Säby Gård, a collage of country, teaching the basics of agriculture and farming, arrange an ecological festival each year. They roast corn, sell vegetables, plants, show animals, machines, provide horse rides - rat shows - and other forms of entertainment. That's where I spent last Sunday, partly (pictures just in - therefore the delay), a few hours shopping and consuming the clear air and caring atmosphere. Cheap prices, lots of fruits and vegetables, great atmosphere, unavoidable lots of people. Here's a picture of the parking lot we had our spot in. Note, picture not taken from the outer border, it's a space in middle.
There was another field just like it, and then some. They provide free Bus tours as well, a service many people use. So I'd guess between 1-2k people visited today. Seeing as Bro, place we live, is a relatively small area with a rough 30k habitants, and this school is a few kilometers out into mid-wilderness it is a massive amount of people, that grows every year. We (me & parents) stacked up on healthy rations for a couple of months forth, stuffed them in the trunk, and then I stayed to help carry stuff with my buddy Andreas + mother. Picture of a baggy him below.
And then them all in a row, so maybe you can glimpse them all in a whole new perspective.
And that's about all yo, I know I didn't take pictures of the most interesting events. They had a bunny hop competition but I managed to move the camera just before I snapped a photo and caught a large chunk of grey ground instead. It was a good day though, looking forward to next years festival of fresh fun.
